Sentry Air Systems Acknowledges Our Own Volunteer Community

National Volunteer Week is April 21-27.

We’d like you to meet a few Sentry Air employees who are active volunteers throughout the year.

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Member volunteers are the muscle behind this multi-faceted annual event, which has produced millions of dollars for scholarships, graduate assistantships and program grants.

Veronica, shown here in the arena, is in her second year as a member volunteer.

Sentry Air's Lise, a rodeo volunteer, shows off her committee badge.

Lise, shown here with her bling-full committee badge, helped her committee raise over $600,000 for scholarships.

Houston SPCA. This organization is a Sentry Air favorite [see our earlier blog]. Volunteers assist with the facility’s daily operation and may interact with dogs, cats, farm animals and small mammals.

Mark applied to become an SPCA volunteer the day he picked Rocket, his new best buddy, out of a line up.

St Patrick’s Day Parade. This annual parade, in its 35th year, raises funds for the Cypress Creek EMS.

Oscar was part of a team that decorated a parade float, which was viewed by thousands along the parade route.

Bible Study. Stephanie volunteers at her local church where she leads a 7th grade girls’ bible study on Sunday mornings.

Stephanie is pictured here with her group during a weekend church retreat where she was a leader.

Bayou City Art Festival. Proceeds from the festival, which occurs twice a year — at Memorial Park in the Spring and downtownHouston in the Fall — benefit local arts organizations.

Joy displays the tote bags she uses to carry bottled water and snacks to participating artists.

Many thanks to our employees for the all the work they do.
