Thermal decomposition<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Plastic welding guns produce temperatures that range from 105\u00a0 \u2013 1150\u00b0 F.<\/p>\n

High temperatures can cause polymers to break down, to thermally decompose, to produce methane, propane, carbon monoxide, and aldehydes<\/a> — all substances that shouldn\u2019t be inhaled.<\/p>\n
