Walk-in Fume Hood Control Panel Benefits<\/h2>\n

The Walk-in Control Panel offers central control for air cleaners and LED Lights.<\/p><\/div> Central Fan Control<\/u><\/b>
\nThe Walk-in Fume Hood Control Panel provides a central control area for operating the air cleaners in a walk-in fume hood. The Control Panel offers one master switch for air cleaners to help simplify operation. This system controls as little as one air cleaner up to four Model 300 or 400 Air Cleaners. <\/p>\n

Please note this system does not offer variable speed control for fan units and can only be used with new Walk-in Fume Hoods. The control panel does not retrofit with older air cleaning units.<\/i><\/p>\n

Adjustable LED Lights<\/u><\/b>
\nThe Walk-in Fume Hood Control Panel features adjustable LED light controls. The adjustable knobs allow the operator to customize the workspace\u2019s lighting intensity depending on the preferred or needed brightness for the application. The system includes 1 LED light per air cleaner (up to 4 LED lights) that emit up to 2884 lumens.

The Walk-in Control Panel Digital Display shows the filter’s static pressure and the system’s runtime.<\/p><\/div>
\nDigital Display<\/u><\/b>
\nThe digital display on the Walk-in Fume Hood Control Panel provides extra functionality showcasing each filter\u2019s static pressure and system runtime. Each air cleaner has a digital Magnehelic gauge that measures the filter\u2019s static pressure. The display shows two air cleaners\u2019 static pressure at a time and cycles through the other set (if applicable). Once the filter becomes saturated, the static pressure will increase indicating that it is time for a filter change. The desired static pressure depends on the application and filter choice. After changing the filter, the operator can reset the runtime to help keep consistent maintenance schedules. <\/p>\n

\nThe Walk-in Fume Hood Control Panel hardwires into the walk-in system and requires a certified electrician to complete installation and repairs. <\/p>\n

\nThe Walk-in Fume Hood Control Panel and connected Model 300 or 400 air cleaners are UL-listed. This system underwent stringent testing to ensure electrical safety. The Walk-in Control Panel meets UL standards for UL 61010-1 Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use. This standard specifies safety measures, protective measures, and performance requirements (Intertek)<\/a>. Being UL-listed means the control panel meets safety requirements and has been checked for any potential hazards. Also, this control panel features a safety mechanism that powers OFF the system once the control panel door opens. <\/p>\n
