The Winged Sentry with Lid Generation 2<\/a> has a unique design with two adjustable wing flaps and an acrylic lid to aid in directing fumes and particulate into the filtration chamber.<\/p><\/div>
\nIntroducing the latest technology in benchtop fume extractors \u2013 the Model 300 Winged Sentry with Lid Generation 2 or WSL2<\/a>. We\u2019ve upgraded our Winged Sentry unit to add a user-friendly control panel to help make it easier to operate, monitor, and maintain the system. The WSL2 provides an economical fume control solution for space-constrained workplaces that can\u2019t fit a traditional fume hood. <\/p>\n

WSL2 Upgraded Features<\/h2>\n

The LED light improves visibility and can be adjusted with a knob on the control panel. Also, the control panel includes a variable speed control for the fan. This adjustable knob enables the operator to modify the fan speed to best suit their application. Lastly, the digital display helps the operator monitor the filtration system and keep it operating in top condition. The display shows the filter\u2019s static pressure, which indicates the filter\u2019s saturation. As the filter becomes saturated, the pressure will increase, and once it reaches a certain level, the filter will need to be changed. After a filter change, the operator can make a note of the runtime to keep consistent maintenance schedules and reset the runtime count. <\/p>\n

Standard features of the WSL2<\/a> that are available with the standard Model 300 WSL<\/p><\/div>The WSL2 utilizes two adjustable wing flaps and an acrylic lid to create a hood-like enclosure. The adjustable wing flaps and acrylic lid aid in directing fumes and particulate into the filtration system. This benchtop fume extractor uses a powerful fan to draw airborne contaminants into the system, filtering out most fumes and particulate, and releasing filtered air back into the surrounding room. This efficient system offers a fume hood solution for space-constrained workspaces that can\u2019t fit a standard hood due to cabinets above or other factors affecting the height clearance. The WSL2 provides portability and can be folded up to take up minimal space for storage. This system uses high-quality filters and can be configured to use two filters \u2013 HEPA and Activated Carbon – to capture both particulate and fumes. <\/p>\n
