It is also considered to be an essential nutrient for humans. It assists in a variety of bodily processes, including antioxidant function, metabolism, bone development, and wound healing <span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">[3].<\/span> It can be found in \u201cpecans, peanuts, pineapple fruit and juice, oatmeal, shredded wheat, and raisin bran cereal. [They also note that &#8220;<span style=\"-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: white; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; font: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;\">heat and stress can also contribute to neurological impairments in welders<\/span>.&#8221;] A recent study showed poorer performance on brain function and motor skill tests from welders who were exposed to low levels of Manganese (3). Health effects also included \u201cchanges in mood and short-term memory, altered reaction time, and reduced hand-eye coordination.
