Fume & Odor Control Problem<\/h2>\n

Annalan\u2019s growing business created a problem; their neighbor in the building began complaining of \u2018acrylic smells\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Winged Sentry can be configured with filtration media appropriate for the application, including HEPA [up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger], Activated Carbon, and specialty-blended media that captures specific substances [i.e. Acid Gas, Mercury, Aldehydes, Ammonia].<\/p><\/div>The lab uses methyl methacrylate<\/a>, which is a common ingredient in the manufacture of resins and plastics. It has an acrid odor and irritates the eyes and mucus membrane.<\/p>\n

Managers re-did the layout of some tasks in the production area and installed a Model 200 Winged Sentry<\/a> with a clear lid in the mixing area.<\/p>\n

Annalan\u2019s Winged Sentry is equipped with 2.5 pounds of activated carbon, which is very effective at capturing methyl methacrylate fumes before they spread.<\/p>\n

The spacious interior of the Model 360 makes it particularly suitable for production tasks that are unique to one-of-a-kind and customized products.<\/p><\/div>\n

Annalan also uses a Model 360 Ductless Spray Hood<\/a> in its processes.<\/p>\n

The sprayhood has three tiers of filtration to ensure that sprayed substances, such as paint and coatings, do not disperse beyond the work area.<\/p>\n
