Medical Air Purifier

Medical air purifiers improve indoor air quality for medical facilities such as hospitals and doctors’ offices. Indoor air becomes polluted with dust, smoke, pollen, bacteria, viruses, mold, and VOCs from medical chemical use. Air pollution and other outside particles enter facilities and without proper air circulation and filtration contaminate the indoor air. Reducing air contaminants in a medical setting proves vital to ensure patient health and safety. Medical facilities have patients with a weakened immune system and any additional airborne particles can cause further damage to the patient’s health. Similarly, patients with respiratory diseases such as allergies and asthma may experience intensified symptoms from inhalation of indoor airborne ultrafine particles.

Medical grade air purifiers utilize high-efficiency filtration including HEPA filters, ULPA filters, and ASHRAE filters for particles, bacteria, and some viruses. Ultra-fine particles, smaller than 0.3 microns, can become lodged deep inside the lungs leading to an increase in health effects. HEPA filtration offers up to 99.97% efficiency on particles down to 0.3 microns to drastically improve indoor air quality. For chemical fumes and VOCs, activated carbon filters adsorb chemical vapors to effectively remove them from the airflow.

Winged Sentry

The Winged Sentry is a compact benchtop air filtration system that provides a highly energy-efficient, quiet and economical solution to many fume extraction needs. It features adjustable "wing flaps" to assist in directing fumes towards the unit's inlet and into the filter chamber. The operator can place these wings in the most effective position for their particular application, or they can be positioned flat against the sides of the unit to conserve space.

Appropriate filtration media is installed in the Winged Sentry based on the application being performed by the operator. HEPA [up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 microns and larger], ASHRAE [up to 95% efficient on particles 0.5 microns and larger], Activated Carbon, and specialty-blended media [i.e. Acid Gas, Mercury, Aldehyde, Ammonia] are the most common filters for this unit.

Room Air Cleaner

Portable Air Cleaners are compact, self-contained, air filtration systems that are best utilized in filtering hazardous fumes, vapors and particulates from the ambient air. Typically used in offices, hotel rooms, small warehouses, and locations where ducting and oversized ventilation cannot suffice, portable air cleaners are a necessity to eliminate high volumes of contaminants to protect users, applications and the immediate environment.

Commercial UV Air Purifier

Commercial UV Air Purifiers are designed to utilize short-wave ultraviolet light to remove unwanted particulate, microorganisms, pathogens, mold, bacteria, and viruses such as COVID-19. Ultimately, sharing the same responsibility as all other industrial air cleaners, the Commercial UV Air Purifier is capable of purfying air and filters at a far greater depth than standard filtration systems. By using UVGI technology, or ultraviolet germicidal irradiation, our Commercial UV Air Purifier is a great fit for most applicaions that need ambient air quality control.

There has been much speculation into the effectiveness of UV Lighting versus bacteria and viruses, and in most cases, UV light inspired air filtraion systems are NOT effective in the irradiation of these microorganisms. Due to the speed in which air passes through a filtration system, the particles that need to be removed would not have the required dwell time to respond in the positive manner needed. Our unique proprietary system specifically addresses this concern and gives users a safe alternative into removing microorganisms that are brought into the filtration system.

Medical Fume Extractors

Medical fume extractors filter fumes and particulate emitted from a variety of applications and processes. These specific extractors utilize an adjustable capture hose to direct contaminants into the filtration system releasing cleansed air into the external room. Our portable systems offer solutions for applications such as epoxy use and laser procedures performed on patients. The heavy-duty casters enable the system to be easily moved to a different location. High-quality air filters, such as HEPA, ULPA, and ASHRAE, capture dust and particles while activated carbon or specialty blended filters absorb chemical fumes. The best-suited filter depends on the application, however dual filter options grant filtration for both fumes and particulate control. Medical fume extractors act as local exhaust ventilation to capture emissions at the source to prevent dispersion into the entire room.

Medical Hoods

Medical hoods create an enclosed workspace that protects the operator from inhaling hazardous fumes and particulate or protects the process from external contamination. Medical hoods include both ductless fume hoods and portable clean rooms.

Portable clean rooms protect the process from external dust and bacteria to create a clean and controlled environment. Portable cleaning rooms work by bringing ambient air through the high-quality filtration compartment and supply clean air to the workspace. These systems create an ISO Class 5 clean room suitable for pathology, stem cell studies, tissue cultures, platelet-rich plasma treatments, IV bag preparation, blood and urine analysis, and more. To meet ISO Class 5 clean room standards, the portable clean room must maintain a limit for the maximum number of particles set by the standard. Portable clean rooms establish a clean and hygienic work environment that reduces external contamination. For the medical field, portable clean rooms generate vital workspaces to ensure cleanliness, sterility, and patient’s safety.
