Fit for a Variety of Applications. The 18” Wide Ducted Fume Hood is an optimal compact fume control solution for limited space environments or small-scale operations. Typical applications include research & development processes, powder containment (e.g. pharmaceutical compounding) chemical fume control, mobile laboratories and field research, light acid etching, and a variety of other processes that require particulate or chemical fume extraction. Ducted Fume Hoods are useful for applications where filtration may not be effective because of heavy volumes or filter efficiency issues. The standard materials, listed in technical specifications below, used to manufacture this hood were selected because of their chemical resistance, durability, and customizable nature.
